Job Vacancies for Fund Manager & Research Officer in a Bank

Our Client is a frontline investment banking firm with thriving offices in the key financial centres of Nigeria. As a result of rapid expansion, the company is looking for outstanding, self-driven professionals to fill the following positions:


Fund Manager

The successful candidate will head the company’s Fund Management function with responsibility for setting up and managing mutual funds schemes, the Treasury Portfolio, Liquidity Management and Client Relationship Management and will report to the COO.



Age: Not more than 35 years



Qualifications: A good first degree (2nd Class Upper min.) in any business related discipline from a reputable university. Post graduate qualifications will also give added advantage.



Experience: A minimum of 7 years relevant working experience in Treasury/Fund Management in a reputable bank or financial services firm, with at least two years spend in a similar position. International relevant working experience will also be an advantage.





Research Officer

This job is for a young, exceptional individual with good numeracy and excellent analytical/writing skills. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Research and will assist in the company’s strategic planning, economic research/analyses and reports preparation. He/she is also expected to produce periodic, market –relevant reports for company-wide usage



Age: Not more than 30 years



Qualifications: A good first degree (2nd Class Upper min.) in Economics or any business related/numerate discipline from a reputable university. Additional qualifications such as MBA, ICAN and ACCA will give added advantage to candidates.



Experience: Working experience is not mandatory for this position, though candidates with relevant working experience from banks or other financial services firms may have an advantage.
