YouWiN - Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria

If you can distinguish yourself with a stand-out business idea in any of the 6 geo-political zones, you stand to win up to N10 million. And suddenly that business can really take off and make of you an employer of labour. That is what the Federal Government Transformation Agenda is all about.

YouWiN! stands for YOUTH ENTERPRISE WITH INNOVATION IN NIGERIA. It is an innovative business plan competition aimed at creating 110,000 jobs over a 4 year period to encourage and support aspiring entrepreneurial youth in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas.

The President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan launched the innovative Business Plan Competition in Abuja. In the 1st round of the competition, 6,000 winners across the 6 geo-political zones will receive intensive training on how to write an effective business plan and will stand the chance of being amongst the selected 1,200 who will receive awards of between one and 10 million naira. The SME Toolkit Nigeria will be used as one of the resources for this competition.

The Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria (You WiN!) Programme is a collaboration of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Communication Technology (CT), and the Ministry of Youth Development that will launch an annual Business Plan Competition (BPC) for aspiring young entrepreneurs in Nigeria, in line with the Federal Government’s drive to create more jobs for Nigerians.
