Vacancies for Electrical Design Engineers

Description of duties

Reporting directly to the Senior Electrical Design Engineer, the electrical design engineer is technically responsible for Electrical designs, their correctness and on-time delivery. The position requires thorough knowledge of (international) electrical design techniques. The main mission of the position is to perform electrical analysis, layout and shop drawings.

Job Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Electrical engineering plans, design and layouts for buildings and infrastructure
Electrical engineering calculations and project specifications
Shop drawings for electrical systems (medium voltage power supply, generators, low and extra low voltage systems)

Qualifications and experience

Must hold a bachelor or higher degree in electrical engineering or in a related discipline
Holding a masters degree will be an added advantage
Having a previous experience in electrical design engineering is also an advantage
Is preferably registered as ENGR with COREN
Has a knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and other common software in electrical design
Must be authorised to work in Nigeria
Is a self-starter with an aptitude to problem solving and can work independently
Demonstrates excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills
Must be fluent in oral and written English
