Massive Academic Vacancies at Baze University, Nigeria.

BAZE is a new, secular, independent university, in British style and with British standards, International Staff, and a splendid new Abuja campus. Baze offers attractive salaries to staff. BAZE opened May 2011

The University is seeking academic staff to support teaching and research in Computer Science and Information Technology. Up to 3 appointments are expected, at all levels, except that of Professor.

The appointments will be in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. Specialties are sought in Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Communications Technology, the Internet and WWW.

Candidates are expected to have a good first degree and at least an MSc in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline. Industrial experience is helpful but not essential. Good programming skills are essential as well as good written and oral communication skills.

Dr Gerard McKee, formerly of the University of Reading, is the designated Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology.Professor Michael Hodd, formerly of London University and the University of Westminster, is Vice-Chancellor.
